Oh I DO love a classic cherry scone!! These look wonderful and I bet they were great with a cuppa! Thanks so much for entering into March's Tea Time Treats….karen
These cherry scones looks lovely & tasty! I have never make scone before , so if I'm making , it will be my first! They're so many varieties of scones that I can't even make up my mind on which one to start with!!
Thanks Kit, your right there is so much variety it can be difficult to make up your mind, though they all taste yummy!
Great idea, I must absolutely try to make them!
Yes you must, bake them and eat them now 🙂
I will feature it as Article of The Week on my blog (just a thumb and link)… hope you don't mind.
Have a great weekend!
I have always thought combining cherries into scones would be a hit – I now know they are look at this.
Those look yummy! I love scones (especially with a bit of cream and jam!). I haven't had a go at making cherry scones though before..will have to put this on my list of things to bake 🙂
I like a lot of things…but scones are my absolute favourite…and they definitely have to have fruit in. So these would be perfect…bring on the cream tea! 🙂
Like the idea of a cherry scone. My problem with a sweet scone though is, what do you put on top of it? Jam would be too much – butter I guess?
Oh yes always enjoy butter on my scones:)
