This may not quite be a bouquet of many flowers, but it is the first vase of blooms from my garden this year. All from the Lilac shrub, which is in full flower at the moment. It is so nice to smell the scent of fresh flowers from the garden in the house again.
I am hoping for more varied bouquets of cut flowers, as I have sowed quiet a few new varieties in the past few months. Asters, Zinnia (inspired by the BBC's Allotment Challenge program), dwarf Phlox, Diascia and more dwarf Sunflowers.

Such beautiful lilacs! xx
ReplyDeleteI love lilac. Like you I have been trying to grow more cut flowers this year. I have sown lots of dwarf sunflowers this year but sadly my zinnias keep getting eaten!
ReplyDeleteThey look so pretty and I bet they smell divine. Love the idea of an Allotment Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love flowers - just not in the house! Your lilacs are divine!
ReplyDeleteLilac has such a great scent! I must get some for my garden.
ReplyDeleteLilacs are definitely one of my favourite flowers, they look and smell absolutely divine! These look so beautiful, and have definitely inspired me to go and buy some seeds so I can grow some at home :)
