Big Garden Birdwatch Weekend 24th 25th January, I will be joining in!

It is the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch Weekend here in the UK, I will be joining in and it is not too late to still participate. Last year I spotted a Buzzard, Dunnocks, Blackbirds, Magpies and Pigeons. Though the weather last year was very windy so all the Finches and Blue Tits sought shelter. But I am hopeful this year they will make an appearance as they are never far from the bird feeders at present.

Step 2   Choose 1 hour on either Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th January to watch for birds and other wildlife in your garden.

Step 3   Complete the form online or using a tablet device during your chosen hour. Or if you prefer using paper and pencil then print out the Big Birdwatch sheet, which also includes photographs of common garden birds to aid you.

  1. I love bird watching very much. I have a humming feeder here and there are many visitors!

    1. Oh it sounds like you get lots of interesting birds in your garden, like Rachel I am very envious.

  2. I'm doing this! Alas next doors bloody cat has seen off most of my garden pets as I call them, but I do have a stubborn fat Mr and Mrs Robin and a morbidly obese Blackbird that I see daily!! I'm jealous of Sandra's Humming Birds!!

    1. I do find the Robins and Blackbirds are some of the most entertaining of garden visitors, and very sociable when I'm gardening too.

Hope you had a successful hour too.

I really do appreciate you leaving me a comment, and I enjoy reading them all.
